Vasectomy

The BUA offer a vasectomy service which is the safest and most assured means of contraception. The procedure is performed under Local Anaesthetic - general anaesthetic if a strong preference is expressed - and takes no more than 15 minutes. A 'NO SCALPEL' technique is used.This is the least traumatic and speediest technique which is also associated with the least postoperative pain and chance of complications. Patients don’t usually have an initial consultation when having a vasectomy but if they do want one the cost of consultation is £215.00
